The Department of Anaesthesiology is staffed by highly trained and qualified Doctors, Nurses and anaesthesia technicians. The Department provides anaesthesia and related facilities to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The Anaesthesia team is trained to provide various types of anaesthesia i.e. general and spinal anaesthesia for major surgeries, IV/Monitored sedation for minimally invasive procedures, local anaesthesia and epidural anaesthesia for normal deliveries.
The Department also undertakes Pre-operative anaesthesia evaluation to ensure that the patient scheduled for surgery are fit to undergo the procedure. The Anaesthesiologists also support the ICU staff in management of surgical patients shifted to ICU for intensive care.

The Hospital has a seven bed ICU staffed by experienced, highly trained professionals, with excellent patient to nurse ratio, geared to provide the best possible care to their patients.
